Although some people may prefer the separate handles on Taps, flickmixers are very easy to use in the kitchen as you can just "flick" them on with the back of your hand when they are full or dirty. Water pressure is also increased.

There are also basically three types of Mixer taps for Kitchens - the Standard flickmixer , the "Vegie Spray" which has a pull out handle for rinsing items in the either bowl or washing down your draining board. This spray tap can also be used to fill large pots or vases.

"Gooseneck" taps are very good for the later also. As they have high neck and sit up from the bench it is easy to get a large item underneath and hold with both hands to fill or wash.
